Message from Training Director

Welcome to the Counseling Psychology Program, part of the Department of Counseling Psychology and Human Services at the University of Oregon. I hope you find this web site helpful in understanding our program and philosophy. On this web site, you will find information about our program, admissions, training, faculty, and students. As winner of the American Psychological Association 2001 Suinn Minority Achievement Award, I think you will find that our program is unique, offering training in both adult and child/family interventions and research with an emphasis on multicultural issues and diversity. We support an active learning environment in which we emphasize collaboration.  Important links to visit when inquiring about admissions are: Should I apply to the U of O Counseling Psychology Program?, Admissions and Research Training (coming soon!).  If you have further questions after reading this web site, you may contact our Academic Secretary at cpsy@uoregon.edu. Welcome!
